Context:

This is a greeting card that my Aunt Angie wrote to my grandparents from mountains in Atlanta, Georgia after a snow storm. They were very close, and this was her way of updating them on what she was up to. This artifact is significant because my aunt passed away in 1996, and this card holds a piece of her personality and voice. I met my aunt when I was too young to remember, but I was always told how much I resembled her. Dog Island was a favorite place for her, and this card commemorates a piece of her missing it.
