My grandmother's collection of items

Context:

This is a certificate that recognizes the Dog Island Fire Department as an official volunteer organization. My grandfather, Becker Boatenreiter, received this after he started up the department and registered with "The Capital Area Citizen Corps". He also got the first firetruck brought over to the island while acting as chief for several years. I remember several fundraisers at the fire department and trips to "help" my papa with errands.
